What I have been up to

I have been knitting a few scarves lately, the above picture is Richard with the one I made for him. He wanted a really super long one that wrapped around his neck twice, as you can see the scarf is longer then he is tall. He loves it and uses it every morning while on his way to work.
The pink one I made for Richards Aunt Kendy, she won the contest about how many books I could read in a year. I gave her a choice of either a gift card to Barnes & Nobel or a scarf. She wanted it a very bright shocking pink with black, there is some black in there if you look closely. She will get her scarf when she comes up at the end of February. She doesn't know what it looks like yet.

This scarf has quite the story behind it, it was the one I made for M. for Christmas, but as you all know from an earlier post her and I aren't talking anymore. I ended up giving this scarf to Susan, a friend of ours that works at the Video City by where we live. Her favorite color is blue so I figured she would like it and she does.

I just started knitting a scarf for myself last night and when I'm finished with it I will take a picture to show you. Oh Kendy's scarf (the pink one) is the first scarf I did completely on my own, the other two mom started for me and the blue stripped one she finished for me as well, I finished Richards on my own. After I'm done with the scarf I'm making for myself I am going to start working on my blanket I started knitting a while a go and hopefully will keep going on it till it's finished. I have found that I really do enjoy knitting and am looking forward to doing more with it.
