D.V.R. UPDATE: So I am getting ever closer to looking for a job. Monday and Tuesday I went to DVR for a clerical assessment and found out that I can type 34 wpm on a really really small keyboard. I would have done better I bet if it had been normal sized and not the smushed together one that I had to use. I kept messing up on the keys because I am so used to bigger keyboards that I would miss the key I was going for. I can also do numerical and alphabetical filing with out a problem, now to just improve my speed on 10 key. a little slow on that because I have never had to use it but I was accurate so that counts for something right? Now I just have to wait till after they move to their new location which happens Monday then they will make an appointment with me so I can meet with my councelor and see what she thinks we should do next, that could be testing me out at an actual job or sending me for some classes to improve on some stuff and learn the new Microsoft Word, we will have to wait and see.
In other news, the hot weather finally ended, it rained for a couple of days and today it is just overcast. I don't mind this at all, specially after all that hot weather we had, plus we really do need the rain to help with all the wild fire we have going on in the state.
We are also thinking of rejoining the gym again. we now have the funds to pay for it again since our care insurance payments are now below $100.00. We just have to wait till we get enough money in our account so probbualy after the first of next month after rent is paid.
